SHOOTING AP: TIKTOK: MURDERS GONE VIRAL - EP 2 The Death Of Sania Khan - ITV
I was a Shooting AP on Episode #2 of the ITV series TikTok: Murders Gone Viral, The Death of Sania Khan [2024] produced by Nine Lives Media. The film explores the tragic death of influencer Sania Khan, an outspoken advocate against domestic violence and whose murder sparked conversation around the world.
DV DIRECTOR: Stranger In My Family - BBC Three
After getting Stranger In My Family [2023] commissioned at Sheffield Doc Fest 2022 at the BBC Three Northern Docs Pitch, I worked as DV Director on the film produced by Nine Lives Media. The film follows Luke, who finds out in his late 20s that the Dad that raised him is not his biological father and he's actually mixed race. What follows is a journey to discover a new heritage and identity while searching for the man his mother met on holiday in Portugal almost 30 years ago. Stranger In My Family has since been nominated for a 2024 Broadcast Award.
DIRECTOR: Being Mix-d:
Being Mix-D: [2019] is a short documentary about defining yourself on your own terms. Following the story of Bradley and his own journey of identity and how that lead him to create Mix-D: a social enterprise dedicated to representing the diverse experiences and issues faced by young people with multiple/mixed heritages in Manchester.
